What I’ve Done
Have a look at my projects below to get an idea of what I’ve worked on, how I implement my skills, and my approach from concept to execution. This is a combination of products from my academic coursework, jobs, and internship experience. I love sharing what I've done, but please respect my intellectual property.

Masters Thesis: AI Versus Human Intelligence in Marketing- Recommendations for A More Empathetic Approach
Academics/Marketing
My capstone project for my masters program feels very true to who I am as a person and a marketer. Ultimately, I think that we have a responsibility to consider the social and moral implications of our business decisions. In this project, I examine the implications of marketers using machine learning algorithms in their current forms, and on a larger scale.
Part 1 of my project consists of a literature review on the current state of AI and ML in marketing. I analyze this through the lens of Huang and Rust's (2018) Four Intelligence Model. In part 2 I apply these insights to make recommendations for real-world applications.
The Effect of Framing on Impact Investing Decisions
Academics
This literature review is a starting point for a study that aims to analyze the motivations of investors when it comes to impact investing and use this to determine what kind of framing leads to the best communication strategies for different situations. Both academics and business practitioners can benefit from an analysis of incentives and communication strategies around impact investing. Because the term impact investing was coined relatively recently, the body of literature surrounding it is constantly evolving. Because there is still no unified framework for understanding impact investment, there is opportunity for academics to pioneer theoretical framework on the topic. For social enterprises that want to attract investors, there are best practices for communication strategies that likely depend not only on the risk and reward analysis of the social enterprise, but also on the motivations of the investors. By taking into account all of these factors, social enterprises can tailor their framing strategies to investors.

Voter Registration Day
Engagement Marketing
With a new Trump presidency and rising fears of gun violence, 2017 was a year of social and political tension. As a student and young person, I saw so many of my peers were eager to make a difference, but didn't know where to start. That is why one of my favorite projects that year was the creation of an annual voter registration day at 3 local San Diego high schools. We were able to register over 500 young people to vote.
